There is no adventure in the mountains that the Friction II GTX cannot handle. This all-around shoe is perfect for both strenuous hiking and climbing in high mountains or on glaciers. Semi-automatic crampons can be mounted in a snap and fit perfectly thanks to the stiff sole. A full-length cushioning insole ensures comfort. The upper material consists of rugged mountain cowhide and durable Cordura. Sophisticated insulation and GORE-TEX lining keep toes warm and dry. The low lacing passes through nylon loops and provides an optimal, secure fit thanks to clamp hook-and-loop and dual-zone lacing.
